My design journey
My design journey
started with my passion for art and problem-solving. From paper dolls that I drew as a kid to landscapes rendered on my iPad screen, you’ll find that art is etched in every corner of my life! Over time, that passion evolved into a deep interest in UI/UX design when I discovered that I can merge my artistic side with purposeful problem-solving. I’m especially excited about challenging myself to create intuitive, user-centered experiences that not only look beautiful but make life easier for the people using them. I design because I want to see people effortlessly enjoy the products they use everyday.

So why the butterflies, Bao?
Glad you asked! My name, Bao, means “butterfly” in Hmong which is the language I grew up speaking. It’s a name my dad gave me and I’ve become quite fond of it over the years. 🦋
